New Adventures
Our family took an impromptu trip to Six Flags before the fall routine started again. As Emma said it was “the most magical day in the whole universe.” We really saw certain aspects of our kids personality come out. Emma was brave and adventurous, wanting to ride by herself and on every big ride she could! Her joy was infectious! Wesley however thought the carousel was a bit intimidating. He took his time getting warmed up to his environment then he found his love, Convoy Trucks. The semi-trucks that go around in a circle. It was perfect and then all three of them fell asleep within 5 minutes of getting in the car. All in all a perfect day!
Starting First Grade
Emma is officially a first grader! We are so proud of this little girl. She also rode the bus for the first time. I walked her to the bus stop and promptly within a few minutes she said I could go across the street and that she was fine. She is independent. She also is having a little bit of “FOMO” aka “Fear of Missing Out.” Some mornings she doesn’t want to go because she thinks we are going to have more fun at home and she doesn’t want to miss out. She is our extreme extrovert that also has a very sensitive heart.
Rachael Starts Graduate School
I just registered for my two classes for this fall, Orientation to Theological Studies and Practices of Vocational Formations. I am so excited to start this season of training for future ministry! I’ve received a scholarship for my missions experience which has reduced my tuition costs. Even with this reduction I will still owe $2000 for the fall semester, which is due in two weeks. If you would like to give a tax-deductible donation towards these costs please feel free click the link below. Thank you for walking with our family in this season training!
